È partita la prima iniziativa del progetto “Facciamo il Macello” per pubblicizzare a tutta la cittadinanza il percorso e le attività previste dal progetto: il gazebo 5x5, installato in Piazza XX settembre, in posizione strategica, con la sua mega partecipianta (una planimetria 2X2 dell’ex mattatoio sulla quale “appuntare” le proposte e le idee dei cittadini).
Venerdì 7 a causa della pioggia non è stato possibile montare il gazebo in piazza XX settembre, ma il gruppo di lavoro non ha desistito ad è andato a “cercare” i giovani in altri luoghi. È stato quindi montato un piccolo banchetto provvisorio nei pressi di un’altra manifestazione indirizzata anch'essa ai giovani di Putignano.

È ufficialmente partito il progetto “facciamo il Macello” con una conferenza lancio che ha visto la presenza della stampa e della cittadinanza putignanese.
In sala, oltre ai giovani, interlocutori privilegiati del progetto, erano presenti anche alcuni membri dell’università della terza età, a testimonianza che i progetti partecipati appartengono a tutta la cittadinanza.
